Hello Fashionistas, Caitlin here! It’s that time of year again, back to college for fall semester! I am so beyond excited to be back in New York City, attending the Fashion Institute of Technology. Who is ready for those longs nights of never ending homework and studying for exams? I know I’ll never be, but that doesn’t mean we Fashionistas can slack on our fabulous fashion sense. I know it’s going to be a RAD semester.

Since the weather is soon transitioning from summer to fall, it may become difficult to pick out an outfit for the first week of school. I styled a pair of olive green pants with a black, dainty lace blouse. It’s the perfect mix between seasons. Adding a pair of open toe, strappy booties brings the whole look together. Add a black velvet choker, and you’re ready to go. Also, don’t forget to grab your favorite pair of sunglasses for those early morning walks to class!

Instead of carrying all your books and a purse, it’s a great idea to invest in a trendy yet comfortable backpack! I love this black and white backpack because it looks great with any outfit and is super cute. My backpack can fit all my textbooks, laptop, wallet and even a snack to munch on in class. Also a little bit of advice is to always pack your bag the night before so you’re never running late for class and you stay organized.
