School spirit is as quintessential college as strolling through the quad and late-night pizza. No matter if you go to college in the Big Ten or the Patriot League, showing pride for your school is a given.
But instead of resorting to a store bought poster or decal, standout with a little DIY and a lot of personality. Follow these three simple steps to create a one-of-a-kind college banner that is rah, rah, RAD.
What You’ll Need:
- Twine
- Scissors
- Clothespins
- Your choice of decorations – we used photos, college pennants and fun memorabilia
Step 1:
Determine where you want to hang your complete banner, then measure and cut your twine to fit.
Step 2:
Use clothespins to attach your decorations to the twine. Don’t be afraid to overlap different things to give the banner some dimension.
Step 3:
Attach your banner by tying the twine ends in place, and enjoy!
