There are so many opportunities in the workforce for people with all kinds of talents and skills. This month, we chatted with three rockstars at Style.com with varying jobs to learn a little more about what makes them tick.

4-1

Name: Rachael Wang

Position: Fashion Market Director

What does your job entail at Style.com? I am the eyes and ears for all things shopping at Style.com. My job is to seek out new designers, collections and trends to share with our readers and to curate original editorial fashion stories.

I’m always thinking about…what is the next cool thing?

I need to get rid of…a plethora of cotton tote bags that just keep accumulating under my sink.

In my past life, I must have been…a fish. I love any body of water.

3-1

Name: Sean Brown

Position: Creative Director

What does your job entail at Style.com? As Creative Director for Style.com, I am constantly focused on the look, feel, and experience of the brand for our readers. I work on site designs, including editorial features and site architecture, as well as oversee the the UX and UI of our site. I have a fine arts background, which helps me immensely – both art and technology are never truly finished, and both need to be constantly reworked. At Style.com, everything needs to be pixel perfect!

I’m always thinking about…how we can make the site even more natural, intuitive and seamless. It’s thinking not only about how something looks, but also how it makes you feel and how you react to it.

I need to get rid of…clutter. By the end of each week, my desk is full of post-its and notes and sketches; I clear them out and keep what’s important. But it all always seems to return.

In my past life, I must have been…an architect. I love the idea of designing space.

Name: Jessica Teves

Position: Site Director

What does your job entail at Style.com? Overseeing editorial strategy and expansion.

I’m always thinking about…face mist and fish tacos. Oh, and Hermes.

I need to get rid of…some of my white T-shirts. I currently have 32 (from every designer imaginable), and that’s just not acceptable in an NYC apartment.

In my past life, I must have been…a camel. I drink a LOT of water. Plus, I thoroughly appreciate their neutral coloring, too.
