Let’s face it; summer is slowly but surely trickling to an end. As we all wrap up our summer bucket lists, it is important not to forget our new and improved wardrobes that we are hauling back to school.

It is almost fall, and that calls for fresh palettes and new beginnings. What better way to spice up your life then to switch up what you wear? This Fashionisto keeps it fresh with a bright and positive outfit for the new school year.

Wearing simple brown pants as a base, he sports white shoes with brown laces. His white patterned shirt complements his shoes, yet adds a touch of flair with the preppy recurring pattern of an anchor.

With anything, it is important to stick to your beliefs and wear what you feel most comfortable in. But, there’s always room for experimenting, especially during a transition into a new year. Try something new!

When you’re running around campus from class to class, it’s crucial to keep your morning routine quick and convenient. While this week’s Fashionisto keeps his style current, he makes sure not to sacrifice efficiency for complication. He accessorizes with a sleek watch with a brown leather band, which is an attractive and appropriate choice, especially for a student on the move. On an especially warm day, throw on some stylish shades to top off your already trendy getup.

How To: Want to add some prep to your step? Pastels, patterns and a comfortable pair of boat shoes are a quick fix to brighten up your wardrobe. You’ll be feeling preppier than ever in no time!

Hello, I’m Audrey! I attend Syracuse University in upstate New York, but was born and raised in the San Francisco, California Bay Area. My first year away from home was a tough one, but I learned so much about myself and I can’t wait to be back on campus in the fall! My style consists of funky statement pieces, an array of neutral colors, a perfect combination of jewelry and always a swipe of colorful lipstick. My favorite stores include ASOS, Urban Outfitters, Top Shop and Free People, but I rely heavily on thrift stores to help finish off an incomplete outfit. You can most likely find me on a hike, in the local coffee shop, online shopping, or eating my way through the Bay Area. Style on!
